Hemlock is a non-resinous, North American softwood with a straight grained even texture, making it ideal for staining, varnishing and painting. Hemlock is similar to pine but free from knots and slightly stronger.

These staircase parts are ideal for homeowners, contractors and builders for both new staircases and for stair repair or refurbishment. The post to post balusters that can be made with this range are available with a variety of spindle designs which include the Stop Chamfer and Plain Stick balusters, the Windsor Spindles, and the Georgian turned spindle. Spindles are available in 900mm lengths for stairs, and 1100mm lengths for landings.
