Zipbolt Newel Post Fastener
For securing a newel post to the ground by either chemical resin or screwing into a wooded joist.
Application 1 (For fastening into concrete)
Application 2 (For fastening into wooden joists)
Zipbolt Rail Bolt Connector
For joining handrail to handrail in continuous balustrade applications
Step 1
Insert bolt into first section of handrail or continuous handrail fitting (i.e. volute/up easing etc), then attach the other section to the other end of the bolt.
Step 2
Secure the housing in place underneath the rail with the 5mm drive bit for tensioning.
Zipbolt Full Mitre Connector
For corner applications where the landing is offset from the staircase.
Step 1
Drill a hole in both sections of rail to accommodate the connector, using a saw cut the angle in both rails to allow for the corner connection. Insert the bolt into the first section, leaving the corner of the connector exposed, secure with the 5mm drive bit on the underside of the rail.
Step 2
Insert the remaining half of the connector into the other rail, and secure from underneath the same as previously.
Zipbolt Micro Connector
For joining handrail to handrail in continuous balustrade applications – ideal for small and slim handrail profiles or boards.
Step 1
Insert bolt into first section of handrail or continuous handrail fitting (i.e. volute/up easing etc), then attach the other section to the other end of the bolt.
Step 2
Secure the housing in place underneath the rail with the 5mm drive bit for tensioning.
