We have a selection of decorative finials designed to add an ornamental finish to stair and landing newel posts. Our finials are hand-carved out of limewood. These are our gothic finials, produced in small, medium and large sizes to suit a range of different styles of newel post and stairs. The gothic style of architecture is a style that flourished in Europe during the High and Late Middle Ages. It is a style that evolved from Romanesque architecture and was then succeeded by Renaissance architecture. It is a style that started with church buildings and was later applied to other types of building.
