Details
A basic but contemporary style, the chamfered edges of these pieces perfectly highlight the natural beauty and texture of which ever wood you choose for your staircase.
The Stop Chamfer range offers clean elegant lines with the delicate shaping of chamfered corners that incorporate lark is tongue ends to produce an elegant, timeless balustrade.
Timbers used are kiln dried and then brushed or hand-sanded to a smooth finish so they are ready to be painted, stained, or varnished on site.
These large posts are used as a structural element to anchor the handrail.
With open landings, a newel post can extend below the landing to produce a decorative newel drop and when the railing ends in a wall a half newel post is usually used.
