These two stainless steel twist brackets by Richard Burbidge enable you to attach a stair handrail to the newel posts quickly and easily. Supplied with all fittings, including white oak filler caps and cover cap to conceal the fixings from view. The bracket has to be attached to the underside of the handrail. You need to drill a hole into the newel post, at right angles to the bracket, for a 1/2" x 2" whitworth hex socket grub screw which will pull the bracket in securely.
