Classic white oak fluted half newel post by Richard Burbidge. For use in post-to-post systems, where the handrail adjoins the newel post. The half newel is identical to the complete newel post, but split in half lengthwise for fitting against a wall, normally on landings. Also ideal for use with the modern metal spindle collection.
