A contemporary half newel post that has a 90 degrees twist along 560mm of its length. This PST-3 half post is designed for fixing against a wall or other flat vertical surface, usually on landings, and has a 50mm diameter spigot (peg) at its base for connection to a newel base. PST-3 newel posts are usually used on landings, often when an up-coming handrail meets a horizontal landing rail. Newel base not included. Shown here in White Oak. Supplied un-finished.
