The Centre Cross joint fitting is designed to form a 90 degree joint between an upright tube which passes through the fitting and four other tubes.
Usually used in the middle of a larger structure for things like self-contained play areas.
The through tube, shown as the vertical piece in the image, cannot be joined within the fitting.
