A palm-type rail fitting, frequently used to attach guardrail uprights to things such as walls, ramps and staircases.
Dimensions shown in image are in millimetres.
The flush design enables posts to be tight to the structure.
This item is supplied in standard form, so the tube cannot pass through the bottom of the fitting. However, this fitting can be modified to accommodate the tube passing through it on request, at extra cost (please contact us for more information).
Dependent on load requirements, type Side Support (Horizontal Base) (JWICL145) may sometimes be used as an alternative.
This part is from the incredibly versatile range of galvanised malleable iron slip-on pipe and tube fittings produced by Interclamp.
They allow for quick and easy construction of different types of structures with the use of a simple hexagon key, rather than any complicated fixings.
Typically, these parts are used to construct hand rails and safety guardrails, but they are also suitable for a huge range of other structures such as playground equipment, shop fitting, sports practice nets, greenhouses, exhibition stands, wheelchair access ramps, and much more.

Please Note: Access to one of the fixing holes is limited and may restrict the length and type fixing that may be used. Anchor bolts M12 are also required.
