90x45mm Plain Half Newel Base with clean cut top to suit the Contemporary Twist range. Unlike most newel bases, these newel bases are not chamfered or radiused at the top, but are cut cleanly to suit the Contemporary Twist range of newel posts. Incorporates (half) a 50mm diameter hole to accept a half newel post. Half newels are usually used at the end of a run on landings to finish a balustrade, banister or handrail against a vertical wall. Shown here in White Oak. Supplied un-finished.
