90x45mm Half Plain Newel Base with a clean cut top to suit a Contemporary Twist newel post. Most newel bases are chamfered or radiused at the top, but these are cut cleanly to suit the Contemporary Twist range. The base includes a 50mm diameter hole (half) to accept a half newel post. Half newels are usually used to finish a balustrade against a wall, but can be used where ever a handrail or balustrade finishes against a wall. Shown here in White Oak.
