Approached by a client in Haslemere in Surrey, this voguish, modern property needed a stunning staircase with two-quarter landing turns in order for the project to be completed.
Seeking contemporary style, our design team worked closely with the client to continue with the minimalistic theme that exists throughout this home. Utilising the strong straight lines of square nosed treads and a closed string on all sides as fundamental design elements.
Crafted from white primed wood, this staircase is extremely well lit in comparison to typical staircases with two-quarter landing turns. This bright and spacious aesthetic, a result of the staircase complementing the primarily white design scheme, and an intelligent property layout that promotes natural light.
To finish off the staircase, the client added a luxurious grey carpet runner with black trim that provides a sophisticated colour break. Accompanied by a continuous black metal handrail with matching thin spindles that the client sourced, our team intelligently included cut newel posts to provide a fixing point and allow the client to create their desired finish.
