Approached to assist in transforming this property into a modern living space, the Pear Stairs design team created this incredible double winder staircase.

Manufactured from White Wood strings and treads with a Redwood baserail, handrails and posts. This staircase was finished by the client with a luxurious dark grey carpet that elegantly connected the downstairs design scheme to the upper floor of the property.

Originally intending to paint the Redwood sections of this staircase in a matching dark tone, upon arrival the client decided to instead leave the stunning natural look of this staircase, only applying a protective oil.

Delicately finished with glass panels that are clamped in place rather than grooved into the handrail and balustrade; the end result is an exquisite staircase that promotes the transfer of light for an open and spacious aesthetic.
