A unique challenge due to the shape and style of this modern property, our design team used all their wealth of experience to create this beautiful bespoke staircase. Choosing to install two long bottom steps, that continue past the base of the staircase and provide access to the hallway. This inventive idea shortened the total length of the staircase and created a more open design space.
The staircase itself is a quarter landing cut string staircase. Crafted from primed whitewood the strings, risers, spindles, apron and nosing provide a clean contrast against the warm and cosy-looking oak treads, balustrades and newel posts. Continued with a returning balustrade across the landing space, it then drops down with the change in flooring height for a majestic finish.
