Approached by a client in Cornwall looking for a half-landing turn staircase, our team of design experts got to work. Selecting softwood for both flights of stairs and also the half landing turn in preparation for the customer to add their desired finish. This staircase was paired with 35mm square spindles and pyramid capped newels, with a design that continues along a return balustrade on the landing in the same stunning style.
To complete the staircase and the design of the room, the client painted the strings, treads, handrail and caps black providing contrast to the white spindles and risers. This monochrome finish complements the room perfectly, allowing the colourful patterned flooring at the base of the staircase to really stand out.
