This contemporary mixed-material staircase makes a powerful visual impact in the property thanks to squared feature steps, open risers and smart material choices.
The customer had 2 straight flights that are over the top of each other with the one running into the other but wanted a contemporary look so the customer went for an open riser staircase with the front of the treads flush with the risers.
There is a beautiful contrast between the luxurious sapele wood parts and the white primed string and handrail.
The customer also went for glass balustrade with the glass being grooved into a pear handrail and 2 part baserail.

We wanted a simple contemporary staircase and sent our brief to Pear Stairs to see if it could be replicated. Pear Stairs designed and delivered, the fitting was very straight forward and after painting and varnishing, we are very pleased with the end result.
