933. Fleet Staircase

This straight 1/4 landing staircase provides access to an above-garage space without taking from the available floorspace within the building. As softwood build, these stairs have been specially treated for outside use. The treads are 42mm thick with anti-slip grooves in them. The open risers help not only with water run off, but they prevent the stricture from catching the wind which could cause damage over extensive periods of time especially in coastal regions. The customer opted for square spindles and newels, topping them with pyramid caps.
