A single winder staircase manufactured from softwood with MDF winder treads and ply risers, our customer has carpeted the stairs and painted all showing parts white. Square newel posts have been selected, the customer sourced the glass elsewhere.

I originally chose Pear Stairs based on cost, as they were considerably cheaper than other suppliers I had sought quotes from, however the low price didn't result in a low quality service, far from it, from sending them approximate dimensions and some photos, a 3D picture and clear plan was issued enabling easy cross checking on site and a simple ordering process. On delivery all parts of the stairs were clearly marked and a large section of the stairs came pre-built with only the newel posts and the last three winders to install. The end result is a simple but lovely staircase, well built, and solidly made, no creaks of loose joints. I'm a very happy customer who will recommend Pear Stairs to all clients and would not bother seeking quotes from other companies in the future, I will save time going direct to Pear Stairs.
