These American white oak staircases are a main feature in this house which serve the ground to second floor starting with a straight flight of stairs featuring a D-end step, a stop chamfered 140mmx140mm newel post and pyramid cap and 41mm stop chamfered spindles. The first floor balustrade links up to the next single winder flight of stairs to the second floor, whitewood treads and ply risers have been used as this flight has been carpeted.

The stairs at Finchampstead were tricky because the architect got the drawings wrong but Pear stairs sorted this for us and after a few phone calls and drawings produced the stairs we wanted.
