These attractive oak stairs include a feature bullnose step leading to two quarter landings with a return balustrade on the top landing. The strings, stop-chamfered newel posts, 41mm stop-chamfered spindles and handrail are all made from American white oak. As the stairs were to be carpeted, we used whitewood treads and plywood risers.
