693. Chestnut House staircase

Manufactured entirely in American white oak, these stairs rise from the ground floor to the first floor with a half landing turn and return balustrade. A smaller flight then continues to the second floor. The client chose square newel posts with a decorative kerf along with a contemporary glass balustrade. For a smooth streamlined effect we set the glass panels into grooves in the handrail and baserail instead of using clamps.
