636. Daughters Farm Staircase
Sherbourne
Dorset
An attractive oak staircase with a quarter landing leading to the first floor with return balustrade. Stop chamfered 32mm spindles and square newels with a ball cap were chosen, along with a feature bullnose on a D-end step at the foot of the stairs. As our client was intending to carpet the stairs, we used whitewood treads and risers instead of more expensive hardwood.
