600. Northwing Staircase

Two staircases sit on top of each other in this property, rising to the first floor and second floor. The strings are in oak, as well as the square newel posts and flat newel caps. For the infill, our client chose glass panels slotted into the oak handrail and baserail. As the stairs were going to be carpeted, we made the treads from whitewood and the risers from plywood to keep costs down.
