596. Chelmsley Staircase

The natural redwood used for the square newels, flat caps, traditional handrail and chunky, 41mm spindles give this staircase a timeless look that would suit any style of property. To keep costs down, the strings and treads are manufactured from whitewood and the risers from plywood. A half landing allows the stairs to turn back on themselves, maximising the use of space. There is an attractive return balustrade at the entry to the stairs as well as on the landing.
