592. Cherry Orchard Staircase

Our remit was to design and manufacture two joined staircases comprising a main flight and a second smaller flight. In both cases we used oak for the strings, newels and stop-chamfered spindles, along with a standard oak handrail. As the stairs were to be carpeted, the client chose whitewood treads and plywood risers to keep costs down.
