586. Caffa Communal Staircase

This softwood half landing flight of stairs was designed for a residential communal area in a public building. We used square newel posts with pyramid newel caps, an oak slender handrail, 32mm stair treads and flush nosings.

Given the design restraints and our specific client requirements, it was a real challenge to get everything sorted during the design stage. Pear Stairs were helpful throughout, which resulted in our client being very happy with the communal stairs installed in their apartment block.
