544. Woodview oak staircase
Buckinghamshire
This staircase consists of two flights of stairs from the ground floor up to the second floor. A bullnose feature step leads the first flight to a half landing on the first floor onto another half landing, then to the second floor, finishing with a small return balustrade. Our client chose square newels, pyramid caps and 35mm stop-chamfered spindles. All visible parts are in oak, while treads and risers are made from softwood.
