491. The Birches Staircase

We supplied this impressive example of an American white oak quarter landing staircase with a landing gallery. The client decided to have a D-end feature step leaving the oak on show and using a carpet runner on the other treads and risers. Square newels, pyramid caps and 35mm square spindles enhance the whole look of the staircase.
