444. Jay Cottage - Main Stairs

This impressive American white oak cut-string staircase features a D-end with a volute at the foot of the stairs leading to a half landing, then up to the first floor with a small return balustrade. 35mm Georgian spindles and newels have been enhanced with a ball cap.

A lot of people have already viewed and loved the stairs and we have unreservedly sung the praises of Pear Stairs and will continue to do so. The stairs have been treated with Osmo oil, a natural clear product which I love because the wood does its own thing and looks great, many thanks.
