427. Rollswood Glass Staircase

This American white oak T-shaped staircase has closed risers leading up to the first landing. From the second to third floor landings the risers are open. Treads and risers are of whitewood where, as the photographs show, the staircase has been carpeted by the client. All treads on this staircase are 32mm thick. The balustrade is 10mm toughened glass and is grooved in to the handrail and baserail, which is a two part baserail.
