A lovely American white oak staircase, designed with a quarter landing at the bottom leading to the first floor with a return balustrade. Traditional handrail and 35mm stop-chamfered spindles and newels with a pyramid cap were chosen, along with whitewood treads and ply risers which were to be carpeted.
