374. Winsford Staircase

This is an American white oak staircase with a quarter landing complemented by a return balustrade at the top of the stairs. The stairway has the added feature of a bullnose step. Square spindles, newels and pyramid caps were the client's requirements in this renovation. As the staircase was to be carpeted, whitewood treads and plywood risers were used.
