345. John Betts Staircase

This simple but effective staircase is a good example of using two quarter landings with an intermediate step. 41mm spindles, handrail and baserail were used along with newels which were designed using a decorative kerf. Softwood treads and risers were selected, as the client was intending to carpet the staircase. White painted strings complement the beauty of the natural American white oak.
