These impressive photos show two softwood cut and bracketed string staircases. The stairs use a sapele Traditional handrail with continuous components to give an elegant, fluid look. The ground to first floor staircase starts with a volute and up-ramp and finishes at the top with a vertical turn, up-ramp and horizontal cap turn, which starts the landing balustrade leading to the first-to-second floor staircase. The client selected 32mm thick treads and 32mm square spindles.

Our Customer Said:

It was important to source a company that would design a three-floor staircase that would complement the house I was building. I found the Pear Stairs website and, wow! Their prices appeared to be exceptionally competitive and their work looked to be of high standard. I sent off my enquiry and an initial quote was promptly returned. After adding the final details to complete my full specification, a competitive quote, complete with a favourable lead time, was supplied and the order was placed. The staircase, of exceptional quality and craftsmanship in accordance with our measurements, arrived on time. I cannot speak highly enough of Pear Stairs; I recommend them to everyone who visits the house. Thank you for a superb product and service supplied at sensible prices. It is encouraging to know there are still companies around where a first class service can be relied upon. Place your order with Pear Stairs - I guarantee, you will not be disappointed!
