A complete new entry was made for the main stairs, in order to knock a door through in the hallway. The American white oak Georgian balustrade was supplied by Pear Stairs. On the first floor, a pine spacesaver staircase was fitted to gain access to the loft. The right-hand side will be encased by a wall when the current extension is complete. The balustrade follows the Georgian style of the main staircase.
