219. Malt House Barn Staircase

An unusual combination staircase designed to suit a unique barn conversion. The client had the staircase made up on site using pre-cut softwood material from Pear Stairs to marry up with reclaimed oak from site. Note how a new oak top step was incorporated to match up with the oak floor boards on the landing. The use of white gloss stop-ovolo spindles lightens the rake and gallery. All parts used in the stairs and balustrade can be purchased in our online shop or by visiting to our showroom.

We normally buy all our stairs from Pear Stairs complete. On this occasion it suited the project to have the stairs made up on site to get the full effect of the reclaimed oak available.
