197. Mill Stairs

A softwood staircase installed in a factory environment. Our client needed a staircase to view the machine, but also one that was easy to move aside to put stock away. Note the detail on the newel posts which allows easy dismantling to remove the staircase from the landing. The stairs are an open riser flight with stop-chamfer spindles and a simple stop-chamfer design on the post tops.
