188. Garstella Oak Stairs

Here's a fine example of a European oak staircase, incorporating timber and glass balustrading. Stop-chamfered 35mm spindles were used up the rake of the stairs and 10mm toughened glass units on stainless steel brackets on the landing returns. The glass allows the light to flow down to the hallway from the velux roof windows above.
