1260. The Barn - Metal Staircase

This contemporary metal staircase was designed to create a clean, modern focal point within the property while complementing the open-plan interior. The combination of black metal, natural oak and glass balustrading gives the staircase a sleek and understated appearance, allowing it to blend seamlessly into the bright surrounding space of the barn.

The staircase features black 6mm M2 metal strings paired with solid 42mm oak treads, creating a striking contrast between the industrial metalwork and the warmth of the timber. Solid 32mm oak risers add depth and consistency throughout the design, while the 60 x 60mm oak square handrail enhances the staircase’s simple geometric lines. Finished with oak covermould detailing, the overall result is a high-quality staircase that balances contemporary design with practical durability.
