This staircase is a single winder cut design, manufactured from a combination of Primed Pine and Oak. The strings, risers, and apron have been crafted in Primed Pine, while the treads, posts, handrail, and baserail are all manufactured in Oak. To meet the customer’s request for a 1000mm wide staircase, we recommended using our chunkier 32mm thick treads for added strength and presence. The posts are square in shape and finished neatly with a flat cap, giving the staircase a modern yet timeless appearance.
For the balustrade, the customer opted for spindles from our black metal range, choosing a stylish combination of the Camlad and Solva designs in a 2:1 ratio. This mix introduces a contemporary touch while maintaining balance and cohesion in the overall design. To complete the staircase, the bottom step has been designed as an all-oak D-End feature step, adding a sense of elegance and enhancing the visual appeal of the entrance to the staircase.
