Our clients from Hampshire contacted Pear Stairs looking for a new staircase for their home. This beautifully crafted staircase features a cut string design, enhanced with scotia detailing for a refined and seamless look.

The traditional Sapele wood handrail runs continuously, incorporating elegant features such as a volute at the base, up-ramps, and smooth horizontal turns, creating a graceful and fluid line that guides users up the staircase. The 40mm black metal newel posts offer a striking contrast to the rich, warm tones of the Sapele wood, while the Camlad spindles add an intricate and classic touch to the overall design.

The treads are also made of Sapele, providing a consistent aesthetic, while the strings and risers are finished with a crisp white primer for a clean, contemporary finish. This combination of materials and craftsmanship creates a staircase that blends traditional elegance with modern sensibility, offering both style and durability for any home.
