Pear Stairs recently collaborated with a homeowner in designing a straight flight staircase featuring a classic combination of pine and painted stair parts in a striking navy for a dramatic aesthetic.
Our design team began by conducting an in-depth consultation with the client to understand their vision, preferences, and practical needs. The staircase features a white-primed string, treads, risers, apron and cover mould combined with pine square posts, pear base rail, flat caps and stop chamfered spindles.
The straight flight style helped to optimise the use of space within the property. The pairing of exposed pine and primed components created a visual contrast which instantly became a focal point in the home's interior.
