Pear Stairs recently completed a project featuring a basic redwood winder staircase with practical understairs storage. Clients from Wiltshire wanted to blend functionality with aesthetic appeal, ensuring the staircase served as both a beautiful centrepiece and a useful storage solution.
Crafted from high-quality redwood, this design follows a basic, classic winder staircase which was perfect for the home's traditional aesthetic. The redwood worked in perfect harmony with the original wooden beams that the property possessed.
Main stair parts used were the square posts, flat caps, 32mm strings, 21mm treads, 18mm riser, and apron and cover moulding.
The flight was finished with a deep blue plush carpet, helping to provide not only comfort but a safe staircase for all its users. The on-site joiner also installed custom-built storage solutions, including cabinets which seamlessly integrated into the staircase structure.
