A homeowner with a vision for classic yet contemporary staircase sought Pear Stairs' expertise to design a striking centrepiece for their residence. Situated in a spacious foyer area, the staircase was intended to make a bold statement while seamlessly blending in with the existing interior decor.
The centrepiece of the design was a quarter-turn landing staircase featuring a cut string style, a design choice that added a touch of intricacy and visual appeal to the staircase. To achieve a seamless transition between levels, the staircase incorporated oak treads and handrails, adding warmth and natural beauty to the overall aesthetic.
The white primed finish of the staircase provided a clean and contemporary backdrop, allowing the staircase to effortlessly complement the surrounding interior decor. Metal spindles in the style
Dovey were strategically incorporated into the design, offering a modern twist on a traditional balustrade style and adding a subtle contrast to the white primed elements. Black metal newel posts were also added for extra depth.
To finish, a d-end feature step was incorporated to offer a welcoming approach on entrance to the flight. The combination of materials showcase the perfect execution of a modern staircase design!
