1207. Headlands

A homeowner in a newly renovated space desired a staircase that would enhance the elegance and contemporary style of their home. They sought a timeless design that combined the warmth of oak with clean, modern accents.

Solid oak was used to craft the entire flight, following a cut-string style to further showcase the contrasting oak treads. Following the oak theme, an oak handrail was incorporated to help with the seamless design.

The staircase features our popular Georgian posts, Stop Chamfered Fluted spindles, topped off with Ball newel caps. A neutral carpet was installed down the centre of the staircase following its completion, introducing a homely approach and adding comfort and style.

This project showcases how the combination of oak, white primed risers, and a neutral carpet runner resulted in a stunning staircase that serves as a focal point in the client's living space.
