Wanting to blend a classic style with contemporary elements, a family from Surrey approached our design team to help them create a completely new appearance for their home with the new staircase being the focal point.

The white-primed treads and strings offered a fresh and modern feel, beautifully contrasting with the rich tones of the oak pear handrail and Georgian posts.

Keeping in line with the contemporary touch, Georgian spindles were incorporated into the design along with the ball newel cap.

A beige stair runner was chosen for the entire flight, providing a welcoming appeal to the flight. To combine the neutral colour pallet used within the flight, matt black stair rods were selected for the stair runner helping to secure the carpet whilst adding to the overall aesthetic.
