1200. Barn Park

Seeking two staircases that would maximise space efficiency without compromising on style or functionality, a family from Devon approached our design team after using our Online Staircreator to explore some options for their property.

A winder design was proposed characterised by its elegant curves and space-saving configuration, creating a sense of flow and continuity between the different levels. This allowed the family to utilise the exposed brick wall on the right side of the staircase, creating a rustic appeal.

Featuring white-primed strings, posts, spindles, and base rails. The decision to use white-primed parts provided a clean and modern backdrop, helping to enhance the display of the oak caps and handrail. Stop-chamfered was the style used for the spindles.

The staircase was completed by installing a plush grey carpet which helped maximise comfort and merge effectively with the existing decor.
