Looking to harmonise classic elegance with modern flair, a couple from Oxfordshire liaised closely with our design team at Pear Stairs to create this splayed design, characterised by angled steps that radiate from a central point, adding a dynamic architectural element to the space.

Sapele wood, known for its rich reddish-brown hue and distinctive grain pattern, was selected for its durability and natural beauty. The black metal spindles, expertly fabricated to precise specifications, provide a modern contrast to the warmth of the wood.

To promote a contemporary appeal, a metal balustrade was opted for. A mixture of our Milford and Radnor spindles were used which helped create a more traditional display that matched the sapele and splayed design.

A feature step was incorporated into the design to help enhance the grandeur appearance of the flight, opening up the entrance and creating a welcoming approach.
