Powys

In a bid to elevate their barn conversions' aesthetic appeal, a local family from Powys got in touch with our design team to create a bespoke staircase that blended traditional factors with a modern
flair.

The focal point of the renovation was the installation of an oak half-landing staircase. Crafted from high-quality oak, the staircase was designed to seamlessly integrate with the existing décor while adding a touch of sophistication.

To enhance safety and aesthetics, a sleek glass balustrade was installed on the first floor, providing unobstructed views and allowing natural light to permeate the space. The combination of oak and glass creates a harmonious blend of traditional warmth and contemporary allure, adding character to the home's interior.

For further personalisation, the customers sourced their own metal balustrade on the ground floor.

Our Customer Said:

Ordered two oak staircases for a barn conversion and despite no building knowledge was supported by the team at Pear Stairs. Both have turned out to look fantastic. They have been at the end of the phone to answer some of my silly questions and they could not have been more helpful. Always spoke to the same few people, so there was no confusion when calling as they were aware of the project.
