Seeking a sleek winder staircase to complement the contemporary aesthetic of their new home in Kent, homeowners teamed up with Pear Stairs to create this bespoke and modern masterpiece!
Working closely with the clients, Pear Stairs developed a design concept that combined traditional craftsmanship with modern elegance. The staircase was crafted using a combination of whitewood and redwood, chosen for their durability, strength, and natural beauty. The use of contrasting wood tones and white-primed elements added visual interest and complemented the home's interior design.
To enhance the staircase's aesthetic appeal, homeowners got their on-site joiner to design and install a unique balustrade design that seamlessly integrated with the overall design theme. They also incorporated some under-stair storage on the ground level of the staircase to utilise the space they had to work with.

Delivery was detailed so we knew exactly when the stairs would arrive and the driver was most helpful, not in a rush. The quality of the stairs is superb, really solid, well fitting and easy to put together even if you are not a carpenter used to doing stairs. We would highly recommend this company. It's a shame they only do stairs!
